A career built on people coming back
Doreen has spent more than three decades selling real estate. Much of that career was in Quebec; fifteen years ago she moved to Newfoundland and has worked the St. John’s and Avalon market ever since. In a career that long, reputation is the only thing that compounds. Hers was built the slow way: by being right about pricing, straight about problems, and reachable when it mattered.
Along the way she has earned numerous RE/MAX achievement awards and membership in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame — recognition reserved for agents whose results hold up over the long term rather than in a single good year. Building a business twice, in two different markets, is its own kind of proof.
She has also worked for many years as a relocation specialist, transferring buyers and vendors to and from all parts of Canada and the United States — and she has been on the other side of it herself, moving her own life from Quebec to Newfoundland. If you are moving home to the island, or leaving it, that experience takes an enormous amount of stress out of the process.
Her French is not a line on a profile. Much of her career was spent working in Quebec, so English and French are both working languages — useful if you are moving between the two provinces, or simply more comfortable in French. And she works with clients personally: the person you hire is the person who shows up at the showing, writes the offer, and picks up the phone at nine on a Sunday night when something goes sideways.
